Legal Notice- Permissive Referendum
Notice is hereby given that at the special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Afton, held on March 26, 2026, the Board adopted entering into a contract for the sale of property along the north side of Bettsburg Road, designated as parcel A to Tim East and Tammy Nelson consisting of 4.539 acres for $9,639.00 subject to a Permissive Referendum.
This shall not take effect for 30 days from the date of its adoption, and shall only take effect if no valid petition requesting a referendum is filed with the Town Clerk within that time. Any public comment or concerns to be on April 27, 2026 at a Special Town Board Meeting at 6:30 pm.

Notice is hereby given that at the special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Afton, held on March 26, 2026, the Board adopted a proposed Local Law 1 of 2026, entitled Game of Chance Law subject to a Permissive Referendum.
This shall not take effect for 45 days from the date of its adoption, and shall only take effect if no valid petition requesting a referendum is filed with the Town Clerk within that time.
Any public comment or concerns to heard on May 14, 2026 Town's Board meeting. Petitions requesting that the resolution be submitted to the voters of the Town of Afton must be filed with the undersigned within forty-five(45) days after the date of adoption.

Town of Afton is seeking bids on the 1A, 1B and 1 ST washed and crushed limestone. All bids should be FOB and delivered per ton price.
Bids should be delivered no later than March 11, 2026 at 4:30pm To the Town of Afton 204A Co Rd 39 Afton NY 13730.
All bids should be should be clearly marked "Stone Bids" and delivered in a sealed envelope. All items should contain a non-collusion statement.
